Best 1/8th was 7.45@95mph which was better.

I'm hoping to run 11.40@118 or and maybe faster if I ever get to run in good air.

If your car isn't super heavy you should make your goal of 10s. My car isn't a super performer at the drag strip.
6700#???? Wow is it in a truck? The car should only weigh about 3400-3500 with me In it.

I have no idea. Since he projected it to be so low I'm guessing it's a mustang dyno

Yeah my car will be around 3400-3500 with me in it. I just want to run 10s and be able to **** on the new 5.0s.

Default Update

Just talked to the engine builder today to clarify why he projected such low rwhp. He calculated drive train loss at 28%. On top of that he took off another 40-60 hp because at this point I only have 2.5" true duals. He's putting the motor on the engine dyno by the end of the week and hopes to be around 600 at the flywheel. That makes me feel a little better.

Sounds like one of those promise you a pinto and provide a corvette kinda guys. Ignore that 415. You WILL make a lot more than that. You could leave the parking brake on so you can meet your builders recommendation.

He said horsepower will be the least of my worries.
