Yes there is definately power left in there, I mean we only did 5 dyno pulls and was gaining power on every pull.
I haven't scanned in the dyno graphs yet, I'll try to do that today at lunch.
The compression ratio on the new motor is 13.6, I am running race gas in her right now.
I still have to clean the car up she's very dirty from all the work thats been done to her. After I wash the car I'll shoot a bunch of pics

Just got word from TCI, they said I can over night them the converter and they will weld/fix it the same day and over night it back to me. I am also looking into a local converter shop that my be able to repair the converter on the spot for me, I'm waiting to hear back from them.
Anyone ever had to repair a converter before?

Actually the neighbors don't mind the car, they are really into it. The guys that live on both sides come over and help with when I need some extra muscle etc.
I do feel bad though when I get home at 3:00 am after a race and have to unload the car. But I usually back right off the trailer and into the garage in less than 20 seconds.
John, I'm hoping to have some shake down runs this Friday at Moroso. My luck I'll get the converter squared away and be ready to race then get rained out.

Thanks Lee, Iam glad that everything turned out ok,except for the converter(really sucks). Nothing like getting off the plane(after delays) and hardcore wrenching till 2:30AM. But the breakfast made up for it You have some great parents!
Wish we could have had more dyno time and was able to make it to the track for some testing. Hope you get the converter fixed and go racing this weekend. She sounds really good

Thanks again for the great motor Allan!
I pulled the converter last night and found the crack/leak. The converter is leaking right at the base of the crank pilot. You can't even see it. I wiped the converter down and set it on two 2x6's, after a few seconds you could see atf slow oozing out and run down the snout. Hopefully this shop I am going to today can fix it with a weld and I'll be back in business. I have alot to do to get ready for N vs S, its over 1200 miles drive each way

Looks good Lee, can't wait to run ya
That is one hell of a long tow.

BTW, I just got back from the converter shop they said they couldn't repair the converter by welding it. They would have to rebuild it, since that was the case I just over nighted the converter to TCI. I spoke with the repair dept there and they claim they can fix it and get it back to me by Thurs or Fri. The bad thing is the weather looks really shitty this week. Even if I get the converter back I will most likely get rained out at the track. So now I have to decide if I want to travel all the way to Indiana to make shakedown runs.
Anyway Here's the dyno graph. The run#3 was the very first dyno ever on the new motor with stock tuning, 26* wot timing etc. Then #7 was the last run we did that day. NO I was not spinning the motor to 8500 rpm lol, the dyno does that with our ignitions sometimes, I was only pulling the motor to 7300 then stopping on all the pulls.
