The Corvette C6 Z06 has proved to be one of the best platforms for modding in LS history and for good reason. The LS7 provides a decent amount of NA power from the factory and it takes really well to bolt-on modifications. A client of ours from Florida was looking to get some more performance out of his C6 Z06 with under 10,000 miles on it. It is a beautiful example of a black Z06 sitting on HRE wheels with a Halltech intake already installed. Like many Z06 owners, he had always dreamed of owning a Corvette with a nasty cam in it. We decided to sit down and go over some options that would create a reliable build that makes good power to fit his needs.



After following several of our past C6Z builds, he decided that he really wanted to go with the VR Kaotik cam. To finish out the supporting modifications we wanted to make sure the LS7 was getting enough air both in and out of the system. A full ARH exhaust system, Nick Williams TB and MSD intake manifold would do just that. We are all aware of the valve issues that can be had on the stock LS7 heads so we also decided to go with a set of WCCH Stage II heads to round out the build.

Full street and dyno custom VR ECU Calibration





What were the results? An increase of 109.67whp / 82.09wtq for final numbers of 581.98whp / 526.11wtq!
The client was extremely happy with the way the car sounded and the new found power thanks to the mods and tuning.
