Talking Bolt-on tune Ws6 Dyno numbers

Took my car to G-Force motorsports yesterday for a dyno tune. I have a 2002 Ws6 30k miles with a K&N FIPK, Texas Speed 1 7/8" long tubes, ORY, new texas speed cat back, new TR55 plugs and MSD wires. Final numbers after tune were 350hp/365tq I'll post picture of the graph later. Quite happy with how she came out.

Yes! Still trying to decide what's going to give me the best gains for the buck going forward... but those 241 heads are just going to limit me I think....

If you're wanting to just stay bolt ons for now, do a light clutch. You'll be surprised how much that wakes the car up. Also gear up your rear axle. Going from 3.42-4.11 is about 20% torque planted to the ground. Also wakes the car right up.

Someone seems a bit hurt by that. Different dynos....different cars....different mods. Should they dyno the same?

It's not a master problem. You need a clutch. Your pressure plate is giving up if 4th is notchy. Especially if you are still on the stock clutch.

For me its third gear if I spin 2nd up over 6k getiing in to third is sometimes not possible. You think clutch? I have a crappy Luk clutch, supposed to be similar to stock clutch..... any recommendations for decent clutch I wiil be doing H/C/I down the road so I guess I should prepare to handle some decent RWHP. Thanks in advance for sharing the knowledge

Ok 3rd....yup if you're on stock gear still. If you had 4.10 gears it would be 4th. It ends up being time vs rpm related. The longer at high rpm it gives the pressure plate time to give up. The fingers suck in....then the hydraulic release bearing can't throw far enough to release the clutch disc. Same thing used to happen on mechanical clutches back in the day if you turned to high of a rpm. Now it gets blamed on these mysterious hydraulics. Lol.

Rpm related is a dead giveaway the pressure plate is weak......or to weak for the application.

Get something light weight. Don't be scared to drop some decent coin on a good light clutch. It will shift smoother and add performance. Tilton/qtr master/spec/mantic all have nice little mini twin type clutches.
