Default My Dyno Results....

I'm very new to this so bear with my ignorance. This # seems kinda low to me. This is also after they tuned my car. I don't have the before dyno, but they told me it was only putting down 289 RWHP before the tune. I find that kinda hard to believe though with all the mods I have. The conditions seem a bit warm as well as a lower than usual barometer I think. Is this factoring that? Comments please!!

You do not think 320+ is good with basicly... headers?

Plus A4's always dyno a bit lower. You will still beat a 330HP M6 at the track (probably)

Those seem about right to me. A4's dyno lower and your only major mod is long tubes. 290-316 are my numbers without the qtp lts and ory on my car now. Looks good to me.

Was the 289 RWHP pre headers & tune? Or just pre-tune? Also, do you still have the 2.73's in the car? I know some shops will dyno 2.73 cars in 2nd to avoid potential tailshaft damage. That could be somewhat of the lower dyno #'s. What kind of HP & TQ #'s were you looking for? I think your #'s are about what they should be. Regardless, you have a sweet looking car that runs hard. Go run it again and see how it does, I'm willing to bet you'll be pleased with the results.

The thing that throws me off is they told me the car made 289 RWHP with all my mods. THen they tuned it and pulled 320. Basically I got 31 HP from a tune, which in itself is really good, but I'm more shocked that I only had 289 before that. I was thinking I had at least 300 rwhp before that. They dyno'd me AFTER switching to the 3:42's BTW. Thanks for the compliments on the car too! I'm hoping to take the car to the track this Wednesday. What kind of gains should I expect? I'm hoping for about 4 tenths - considering a 31 HP jump and the gear change.

Sounds like bs to me, unless you were running Wayyyyyyy rich or something. Why is the 289 run not on the graph? Did they ever show it to you? If not, I would suspect they are trying to hype up their tuning abilities. Besides that, your #'s look normal.

They did not show me the baseline run, which I thought was odd also. This place is reputable though. I have to take it back there though. My traction control has been disabled or something now. I don't think they tuned factoring my cooler 180 thermostat either.
