Went back to the dyno yesterday. Made sure all plug wires were clicked on good. Drove down fine.
Used 93 octane + meth
Made some pulls at 7.5psi to get the fueling dialed in. I thin I finished with 575rwhp/600rwtq @7.5psi @ 17 deg (not 100% sure on the dyno numbers). Turned the wick up on the boost controller and probably made 8-10 pulls in a row without the car being shut off. I would make pull, adjust the boost controller, and make another pull. ECT's were up to 216F (I am usually less than 190F on the street).
By the time I got to 15psi (15.5 deg timing), something funky happened. During the pull I developed a miss but didn't notice it until after the pull. I pulled 655rwhp/725rwtq. The hp peaked at 5200 and stayed flat all the way to 6300 or so.
When I looked at the map readings, I made 15psi at OK tq, but boost fell off to 11.5psi by 6300rpm and the same time boost fell off, my A/F went off the charts rich.
On the next run I felt a low rpm stutter like last time. Called it quits there. When I got home I pulled the MSD wires and three of them had broken/split insulation.
Put new wires on today and no more stumble.
Gonna head back again and see if I can keep them alive for final numbers.
An interesting note...
On 7.5psi my 60-145mph was 6.9 sec
On the 15psi pull (655rwhp/725rwtq) my 60-145mph was 6.4 sec
I doubled the psi, but only gained 0.5 sec in the pull.
Attached is the graph versus one of my old heads/cam pulls (not the highest numbers for the heads/cam as I made 461rwhp/421rwtq, but you can seen the difference in curves pre and post turbo).
I will try and go back again to finish out the tune.
