I'm going to assume unlocked, I didn't do anything to lock up the converter. Not used to dynoing an A4 so I wasn't sure what to do to lock it up so I just left it as is.

Yella Terra 1.7 Rockers, 7.4 Hardened Pushrods, Comp OEM Lifters
Pacesetter Uncoated Headers, Custom 3in True Duals all the way out the back
Ported LS6 intake, Ported TB, Ported MAF(not used for dyno), ASP Pulley, SLP Lid
Ported/Polished LS6 oil pump, Rollmaster double roller
...and more can't remember the rest

Other things that could affect a dyno:
Chrome Y2K Vette wheels (heavy)
Yank SS4000 Converter
3.73 Gears

Did NOT do any dyno tricks, dyno'ed it the way it is driven on the street, no shortbelt, lid stayed on with the K&N in place, tire pressure at 35psi lol none of that crap.

-Sly

Those are pretty nice numbers sly
Our cams are pretty simular i have a 232/236 .575/.578 mti cam
I think dyno tricks are BS also. I always dyno the same way I drive it around daily.

Your hp would be higher and your tq would be lower . I cannot tell ya exactly how much it depends on how efficient your converter is but I would guess your sheet would be in the 420 hp range locked and say 395tq.

but thats just a guess

Lost 2 rods at the track, it's had a really loud knock on cold startups (not piston slap trust me) that I believe to be the cluprit that eventually just let go. Funny thing is it happened the day after I took it to the dyno.

i have the same converter you do, and only lost 13 rwhp with it unlocked. unlocked i was 350rwhp, 385rwtq. locked it was 363 and 362. my cam is considerably smaller, and i don't have heads, pulley, ewp, or ls6 intake.

Car made 375HP and 350TQ unlocked. Motor was assembled by Speed Inc and installed by them with the FLP trans and dyno tuned by Speed Inc. Now Tom the owner of the shop seems to think these numbers are right on par and that because the converter is so loose its eating up alot of power. I think they are low, especially seems to make really low torque. The car feels slow too. Any G5X3 A4 H/C owners how do your numbers compare to mine?

Do you know if the cam was degree'd?

Not to be a dick but those numbers suck...Have you been able to figure out your problem yet? What did it run at the track? I have the same mods as you. Here is my sheet.

I can't find my SAE numbers but they were about 10 rwhp less!

cut out was open too. this was with et streets at 20 psi, and only 24* of timing, and tuned rich for nitrous. There was more left in here with a more aggressive tune. I've since switched to True Duals, and bumped timing up to 28*. We also swapped to a larger PYE 4200 convertor, as opposed to the 3600 that was used in that dyno. The car pulls like a raped ape. I'll be posting the numbers soon. I don't expect them to increas too much due to the new convertor, I think the timing and duals will just offeset the convertor. Good luck with your gremlin. I hope you get it figured out

I'm wondering if you're loosing power through the FLP tranny? We built our own, using all the same parts as the FLP level IV, and it has held up very well. I would seriously look into getting the cam re-degreed, and I would also like to see what your tune looks like. Something is way off. I would be pissed after spending that much money.

Well right now im having MAF issues with it going out of the frequency range and the PCM freaking out. We are gonna try a new TB and maybe a new PCM. I also have a stock 10 bolt and stock torque arm which is pretty much shot. Im tight on money this point as ive basically had to double spend fixing alot of stuff on the car. Hopefully I can come up with the cash for a new TQ arm and make a pass or two before snow fall here.

I was having the MAF issue too. You need to have you Max - Min MAF settings adjusted. change them too 75 and 65 respectively and change the MAF sesnor fail freq to 14477 if it isn't there already. I doubt very seriously that you need a new TB and new PCM. Who is doing your tuning?
