Numbers look good given the combo. Track can give better insight but with the 10 bolt there probably won’t be much 60’ or ET. Looks like a great budget rig, congrats. 3.42 gears?

Track results were 12.78 @ 114.8.
Dismal 2.18 60ft.
275/40/17 NT05R not as amazing as I had hoped. First time at the track with this car, lots to work on with that 60ft. Spin, bog or a combo of both trying to pedal it. Started with 22psi in the tires, worked it down to 18psi, didn't notice much difference.

DA was about 3500ft. So power is probably right about where the dyno numbers are at. I havent weighed the car but I'd expect it to come in around 36xx race weight.

So yeah stock 10 bolt, 3.42 gears, t56 combo issues.

Did you drop air pressure? What was your process for cleaning/heating the tires? What clutch are you running?

You have plenty of MPH to be low 12's with relative ease if you can launch.

17 psi and those tires need a lot of heat. Do a burnout with them smoking for 3-5 second's at around 100 mph

I tried them at 22, 20 & 18psi. I was only doing 1st gear burnouts in the water box, for maybe 3-5 seconds.
The car has a Spec stage 1 clutch. I know that next time I have to go and rip some second gear burnouts and get more heat in them. Planning to get back to the track next week and work on my technique. I feel like there's no reason the setup couldn't do a 12.2 to 12.3 with just a decent launch in the 1.8x range.

Nice numbers for a simple setup.
You got alot left in your car. Easy mid 11s with better weather and a better 60' If you dont have a shift light, definitely get one.
I made basically the same numbers with my old H/C setup and went 11.9@120 full weight, full street trim. Stock 10 bolt with 4.10s. 1.80 60'
My first time at the track without one I trapped 113mph, after shift light I went 117, then got some good weather and went 120mph.

A shift light sounds like a good tip. It does feel like a crap shoot shifting at a guess rpm going down the track. Dyno showed the stock tach was showing 4-500rpm high near redline during tuning. So it feels hard to trust that thing. Rev limit is set to 6600 right now.

I'll bet I was shifting much earlier going down the track.

Default Injectors

Off topic.... but would you happen to have a link or part # to the Gtp injectors? I’ve been searching with not much luck. TIA

I ordered a full set from "Injector rehab". They worked fine and tuned well but I had one die on me after about 500km. Then I ordered a single replacement from "Injector planet". Working fine now.

Mild update. I had the car out again and it did a new best of 12.60 @ 113.5. Bogging out a 1.96 60ft. Air wasn't great and there was a 30mph head wind. Still haven't got the best out of it yet, not by a long shot. I'll make a few tweaks in the off season and try again next year.
