Default Ls2 GTO 500/453

So I picked this car up about a month ago, 06 m6 with 51k miles, trick flow 225 with decked heads, fast 102 nick williams 102TB, 102 MAF with varam intake, longtubes to custom 3" exhaust with a HPE s2 cam. Made 500/438 with the work done at KK Performance in Arkansas.

Drove it about 2 weeks, popped 2 valve springs and bent a valve. The valves were trashed, 2 cracked rocker arms, was told it was due to the high lift on the s2 and springs weren't rated for high enough.

So after a refresh on the heads, new Harland Sharp rockers, Btr Stage 4 cam, and some magic by Mike at G-Force in Pearland I got the attached dyno sheet.

I'm on vacation but can't wait to come home and pick her up. I expected to lose some power but to lose 1hp and gain 15lb/ft if torque surprised me.

Nothing but praises on the job they did.

No bad! So other than a different cam and refreshing the heads all else was the same? Same dyno for both setups?

Not same dyno but all that was changed was the cam. First one was done by KK Performance in Arkansas, New one was G-Force in Pearland. I expected to lose 15-20hp with the new cam but was very happy to see the results.

Gotcha. 15 hp from just a cam change is a fair amount. What are the specs on both cams?

Not a whole lot but I kinda figured I'd lose a little power.

Yup, Sam helped me out a lot considering I had just bought the car and i had that happen. I gotta meet up with him this weekend to get some seatbelts. I'm ready to drive it with the new cam now.
