Default my tuners hp guess

I got a mail order tune done for my freshly rebuilt engine. I asked him to give me a guess on power and he said 380rwhp. I scheduled a dyno tune with him but its gonna be over a month before I can get in and really find out. I was guessing it to be a little more, so im asking yalls guess's. heres my build.

Exactly. Then combine that with different dynos varying in a broad range it makes it even harder to guess

So results are in from the heart breaker dyno lol car made 315hp 285lb tq.

but couldnt get the converter to lock up. something is wrong with the converter of trying to lock then going back to unlocked, just in and out.

the dyno was a loaded dyno dynamics

have to say im a little disappointed in the numbers for all the mods I did, but with the convertor not locking and the dyno that was used I guess the odds were kinda stacked against me to make good numbers. I gotta get it to the track and maybe those numbers will be more satisfying

See what it traps at the track. That will be the true indicator of power

Something has to be wrong. Those numbers are stock ls1 fbody numbers. You said the stall wasn't locking, but it wouldn't make THAT big of a difference

Something is broken. That's not a heartbreaker dyno that's a broken car on a dyno lol

Converter could be extremely inefficient. Any idea slip% at wot ?

With the converter not locking (which is a bad idea if it's a single disc ) were you throwing any codes, P1870 ?

I dynoed 396 on one of those trap 122 mph with bad transmission problems. Guess the time slip gets the garage wall spot, not the dyno sheet.

My buddy dynoed 356 with the sns 3 with similar setup as me and on same dyno but trapped 118mph.

imo I would start with converter if it does not perform at the track

My WS6 with the following : (i'll list the ones that i think matter to power):

01 LS1 standard bore,
Torquer V2 cam shaft
Fast 90 intake,
42lbs injectors,
Fast rails,
UMI 90mm TB
SLP Lid and K&N filter
Tune
3200 stall converter

makes 380rwhp and 360 foot-pound on a Dyno Dynamics dyno in shootout mode. On a Dynonjet she's making 424.7rwhp and 396 foot-pound.(signature figures are crank estimated from the dynojet dyno run just incase you ask)

Id say something is definitely wrong with your car.
