I think it's possible for sure, but would like to know the torque. If it had say 460 torque it is a generous dyno. If it has 430 torque and is peaking around 6800 rpm, I would say it's potentially legit

The first thing that gets me is the car still has the ls6 intake on it. I mean, any other details about car? Compression, fuel, etc. Seems a bit high for simple h/c.

So as it seems to be nothing really special. It looks to be a mustang dyno. As Darth stated the tq is pretty high. Also note the pull stops before 6k. On the graph this thing is not done making power. The tq is barely dropping off at 6k. So if revved out it would have put 520-530whp? Lol.

So me and a few guys on Facebook have been talking .

Hed claiming the stock 28# injectors and fuel pump took him to 491 rwhp and were only at 100% duty .. this is impossiblw..a 28# injector can only flow X amount of fuel .

My stock 28# injectors were maxed at around 380 whp with a walbro 255 pump . Not a stock pump . And after looking at the guys YouTube page, well, yeah lol

I think the dyno is off over 100 hp .

man, i can't speak on this car, but i can speak on another done on a mustang dyno in nashville at delk performance.

the car made 325rwhp.

in the same weather a few days later the same car did some pulls in smyrna on a dynojet at a VERY reputable SCCA chevrolet shop. it struggled to make 305rwhp.

Delk performance mustang dyno has shown impossible results many times. parameters on a mustang dyno can be fooled with to show results you want.

never trust a mustang dyno for numbers either way. they are good for loading and tuning.

Straightline is indeed a Mustang Dyno and is NOT!!!! a happy dyno. I would guess that the car owner actually did 391 and susequently 414. I have had several engines tuned by them and SpeedInc over the last 15 years and there in no way that one made 5xx on a M.D. dyno.

On a Mustang dyno, doesn't the operator have to input a value for the vehicles weight and an aerodynamic drag factor?

Maybe a typo occurred entering the weight say something like 308 pounds instead of 3080 pounds.

Yeah math doesnt lie. We had a 2002 truck come in with bolt ons and the guy had a dyno sheet from a shop in Houston saying he made 420 or 430 sae hp and he was wanting to get more power out if it. When we looked at the truck and saw it stock injectors I told him it was impossible to make 420hp with his stock injectors plus it just had bolt ons. He got mad and said we were wrong, so I told him I would dyno it and if it made even 400hp it was free, if not he was paying full price. It barely made 300, lol. He was pissed!!!!

You can make a mustang dyno read anything with a few clicks.
