Default Holley Terminator X Max C6Z06

Base tune for Texas Mile with F1X and Holley Terminator X Max. This is the same car that blew out the tire a couple weeks ago. We be racing it this weekend at the Texas Mile. We put the 7" touch screen where the radio was.

Was that really on just 9lbs of boost?
What size motor?

And a little unrelated but related: What tires are running back there in that video?

No we didnt have boost connected to the dyno, it was alot more than 9lbs. The tires are Hoosiers, same kind we blew out on the dyno.

Yes its AFR but it wasnt turned on. The car has dual widebands so we didnt have the dyno widebands installed or on.

I'll post an updated video from the mile soon as its done. It didnt go very well, got the head gaskets before the 1/2 mile on the first pass. Our other Z06 which is 100% street car went 216 mph and we had a stock C6 Z06 we tuned run 177mph.

Awesome placement of the screen. I assume that the stock cluster is fully functioning?

Nope, there is no stock ecm left in the car. The harness was getting in really bad shape and were constantly having electrical issues is partly why we went with holley and new holley harness. At 200+ mph your not trying to read gauges really. We use a shift light and warning lights if something gets out of limits. If this car was still a street car we would have maybe made the stock cluster work but with the full cage, containment seat and other safety required to run the speeds at the mile its not really practical to drive around. The Z06 we have that runs 216 is 100% street car still but we also can go faster legally at the mile.

I gotcha. I just assumed, with the placement. Do you have a build thread of the car? I also have a c6z that I will be installing Holley on. It's still a street car. We also have to deal with emissions. I'm not sure how to go about integrating them both to get it all functioning properly.

We were so busy with blowing out the tire on the dyno and fixing the car we never got around to doing a build thread. We will try to do one soon. You will have to piggy back the stock ecu and holley.

I look forward to reading it if you ever get around to it.

I may just yank it all out and deal with it when I get there, lol. That's the easiest way.

Only thing we can think of is last pull on dyno it hurt the gaskets. We pulled the plugs every pull and never saw any indication we had issues and we weren’t leaning on it yet. We barely hit 18psi when it went at the mile. The motor also had been in car since 2015, had 125 dyno pulls, and over 40 runs at the mile all over 200 mph so it had been a lot at wot lol.

Ouch, hopefully you figure it out so it doesn't do it again. Forget if that's a 4 bolt or 6 bolt motor.

It also wasn’t built for the boost we were running. The engine builder is going to build it for our new power goals. When it was built in 15 it was for daily driving and 1,000rwhp. We have been over 1k rwhp since 15.
