Short runner intake for the win. I wouldn't touch the heads; 385-395 lift with big mid lift too. Then change the cam for a bigger one if it's not enough.

That’s going to be a lot of fun. If you are considering a cam change, take a look at our new Sum-8721 Saturn Stage 5 cam. 247/255. 113.5 + 2. .625/.615 with 1.7 rockers. It’s designed for the newer shorter runner intakes.

My main reason for thinking about the ls7 top end is from what I’ve seen the ls7 style intakes seem to flow and make more power over the ls3 stuff

I agree that camshaft is too small for your application.
There is more power to be had.
ivc is too early and exhaust opening is too late.
I recommend a 246/254 113lsa +4
You will make more power and have an extended rpm range.
Will work great with your ported fast.

I seen that. Maybe I’ll get lucky and it will still be there when tax money comes and I get caught up on some bills
