Brand new 383, thoughts on my numbers please

As I look at your combo, I see your heads and cam holding back your low RPM HP and TQ.

Stock displacement LS3's have pushed more power through the entire curve with less cam.

Also....hard to say not knowing your header specs, but if it's not what you have, 1 7/8" primaries would be the way to go.

Just my quick thoughts....for what they may (or may not) be worth.

Thanks for the input! can you elaborate on what you mean by the cam holding it back?

The cam in my opinion is not holding the combo back.

@cdubbzz 395ci build comes to mind and that motor performed well with a small 231/239 camshaft.

For my 395 the engine builder took everything into consideration when spec'ing it out. Drive around town...catch some light to light action...hit a few rentals...hit up some car shows...was a stickshift etc....it's all about getting the most average HP you can while meeting your needs
