Stout little motor.

What has been done to the oiling system given the high RPM and the g-forces the car will experience?

What style of oil pan was used? Windage tray? Crank Scraper? Etc. Thanks 😁

The oil pan is a low profile pan with kickouts, similar to a C5 Corvette. It is made for the swap into the 240sx chassis. It has a lot of baffling/trap doors in the pan to help with oil starvation. If the oiling systems seems to be an issue when the car is out at the track, we have talked about installing an ARE dry sump system. The pan that was on the engine for the dyno was just something to have on there for those couple of days.

We used both Sunoco E85R and Sunoco 112

Thanks! Those are very impressive numbers still! 1.75 hp per cubic inch is really stout! Congrats!

Great torque and power curve.
That combo is very optimised.

Shouldn't one be concerned about the oil pressure dropping as RPM's are going up? This is one bad *** little setup.

I also had AFR205's on a SBE LS1 in 2004 and milled them to make about 10.7:1 with LS6 intake/stock TB, 233/239 cam, long tubes, FMS 30# injectors, M6 and it made 440rwhp/385rwtq (DynoJet). 100mph in the 1/4 and 129mph best 1/4 at 500-1000DA and 2900lbs with driver.

Tony, how close to these msd results do you feel you could come to these but with a hyd cam setup. I have prc 225 60cc as cast heads , and off shelf cam now @463whp. Was thinking of different cam and fly cutting and these results really impress.
