Default H/C/I 6.0 NA Results

Swapped a fresh L76 into my Trans am. i Kind of have mixed emotions about the dyno results. i had already planned this build for my 5.7 but it decided it didnt want to live after my 2nd 1/4 pass and blew the #7 piston apart. So i picked up a l76 short block and rebuilt it.

Mod List......
L76 from a G8
SLP Lid
Stock MAF
Advanced Induction 241s 219cc package
.40 cometic head gasket
227/234 .600.600 111 LSA TSP cam
Fast 92 mildy ported
Warr 92 mm Tb
Speed Engineering 1 7/8 long tubes
Speed Engineering true dual full exhaust
Yank PT4000
Performabuilt lvl 2 trans
Quick Performance 9" with spool & 390 gear

Ended up making 426 rwhp and 378TQ on a dynojet

was hoping for 450 but i believe i will need a better head and more compression to reach that goal.

the end results will be at the track and that will determine if i have to pull these heads or not lol

pretty satisfied with the track results. these times are off idle.

I thought it was a 5.3 with a 100 shot. Thats how I tuned it anyway.

You"re lucky that Bobby dont know how to swap injectors or that white truck would give you some trouble.

The best I could figure was 10 9 1. the guy I got the heads from said they hadn't been milled. so those numbers are based off stock 241 chamber #s

It has a stall and a 9 inch. Take it to the track and move on with your life.

I have a used set of 243’s for sale. There are many places that port these and you would definitely get a good jump in power. Nice numbers

Man damn, I finally make an account to see what everybody else was putting down with 6.0s and ended up finding ole Mike lol.

We’ll see what kind of power I can out of my lq. I plan on using some Summit flat tops to get my compression up 11.5:1. Did a lot to help mine breathe and get the most from my hog *** MS4 cam so Im expecting some good numbers this time around but won’t know till I get her back on the rollers.

Super solid for a high stall auto and a 9inch. See what the track says at the big end with DA figured in, then you'll know. I'll bet you run faster than the dyno suggests.

Stall doesn't matter since it was locked on the dyno and I'm just messing with Mike.

Not sure if thats good, my 99 C5 auto w/ ported 241's and a mild cam put down more. I'm sure all dyno's vary.

True, I have learned that dyno numbers dont mean squat. I've seen where guys put down 475 rwhp on the dyno and only trap 115 In the 1/4 🤣
