i dont necessarilly know or think the alt is bad considering it was a gm truck piece, it just doesnt work in a performance application i guess

How big was the alternator pulley. I think the stock ones are like 65 mm or so.

it was stock pulley size, and it was used with a stock size frbody ati balancer......so in theory since the truck balancer is larger i should have gotten some extra rpm out of it but whatever.

edit,im getting a puley diameter of 61ish mm from outer lip top outer lip
