How streetable would that cam be with my stock converter? I think with some rockers and springs I could use that to refresh my 80k motor after the A4 gets some work.

you need a converter. when the a4 is getting worked on, put a nice stall in there.
you can run stock rockers too..

As mentioned, you'll definitely want a higher stall speed torque converter with this cam, or any cam that's over 226 duration for that matter. For drivability, you'll want at least a 3,000 stall speed, but the car will certainly perform better at the track with a higher stall speed. The optimal torque converter for max ET would be a TCI Competition 4500. If you're not wanting to run that much converter on the street, a TCI Super Street Fighter 3500 with a set of 3.73's will work okay. This will get you shift extensions (i.e. where your RPM's drop to on the shifts) in the 5,200-5,400 RPM range, which will help to keep the cam in its powerband. The steeper 3.73's will also make the converter feel tighter while cruising around town. If you have the torque converter installed when the transmission is out for a rebuild you won't have to pay any labor to have the converter installed.

98% of the customers running our MS3 camshaft use the factory rocker arms. If you think they are weak or need to be replaced, I would recommend going the the Harland Sharp 1.7:1 rockers.

Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
