Question What is this spike on my Dyno?????

Here is the link to my dyno My G5X3 Dyno What is that little spike on the end of each run?

Sometimes on the dyno when you lift off the gas it makes a spike. I have seen it plenty of times on other dyno sheets. No big deal

So did my Car really hit 401 or are they pulling my chain? I am happy how fast it feels, just kinda let down on my numbers.

when it spiked it did hit 401 it looks like.. but your average is mid 390rwhp.. but i'm betting ya man the 109 intake temp was making it dyno lower then it would

The spike is caused by the Dyno Jet smoothing program. It did not hit 401 HP, looks like its closer to 380-385peak to me.

Is it getting Valve Float or is it the tune, everyone else is making more than 400rwhp with this cam. I have all the bolt ons, with LS6 intake. Was this cam degreed in wrong or what?

yea..no 23 hp gain there. Looks more like about 10. Spikes are normal..you just have to exclude them from stated hp numbers.

doesn't look like valve float. Definitely 401 rwhp on a spike, your actual is around 385-390 rwhp. Spikes happen sometimes when you let off the gas, or a rev-limit is hit. Not a big deal, just don't go around quoting spike peak #s or people will burn you

Weel do U think it could be the tune or the temp in the dyno shop when the tune was conducted?(109 air inlet temp/ 80%humidity that day too) or are my Cats choking it that BAD? Car feel alot faster and pulls like a mother
