Just dynoed today at lunch... what do you think?
Hi all.. I am a former mustang owner, my last stang made 519 at the wheels thru an automatic. It had 5.0, 16 psi boost, heads/cam and all of the goodies. IT ran 6.90 @ 102 in the 1/8 (easy 10's) Anyway, there is my background.
I have a 98 Z with 69K miles on it that I just love. Here are the mods and dyno trail.
Bone stock down to the paper filter - 289 rwhp
Added K&N,
TSP clear lid
Free ram air (cut out lower box)- 309rwhp
Added LS6 intake,
Pace setter long tubes
TSP off road Y pipe with cutout (closed for this test)
STOCK CATBACK - 335 rwhp
Opened cutout, 351 rwhp.
I have a Bassani catback that I planned on putting on but am not sure what to do now. I may just buy an electric cutout and open it when I need the power, or I may put on the bassani.. who knows.
I have a Vig 3200 in the box that is gonna get put in this weekend so with 350 at the wheels, and a vig 3200, what ET's do you think this car should run with good tires assuming 1.70's?
mid 12's? 110?

Yep Low 12's is way possible.... i have a buddy here in town with a Lid, pace headers, not cats, stock catback with a cutout, TCI SSF 3500 stall, shift kit and stock rear gears with 245/50 Nitto's and he ran a 12.2...... so you should be the same with a good 60' his was a 1.8 i believe.....

I ran the times in my sig with the following:
Hooker Long Tubes
TSP True Duals
MTI Clear Lid w/K&N
Spohn LCAs w/Relocation Brackets
Spohn Panhard Bar
The 12.70 was in really crappy 95+ weather with high humidity, a really bad slipping clutch, and granny shifting the 2-3 and 3-4. I know it has at least a 12.50 in it with a better launch (no slipping clutch) and some better shifting.

i think that is possible, even with the 110 i am going 109.68 with a 1.99 60 ft running a 13.01 in a 98. mike and lambert do excellent work up there at the horsepower factory and great guys also.
