Default 250 shot on stock bottom end. update w/timeslip

Took the car back to the dyno last night to dial in the air fuel on the big pills. Oh wait, I've already listed the size. Anyway, ended up with a/f around 12.3:1 and came up with the following:

It's an 01 SS 6spd with LG G5 cam (224/230 .581/.570 112), TEA stg 2.5 5.3 heads, TR 1 3/4 race headers with 3" duals and Borla XR-1 mufflers. Stock injectors, fuel rails, feed and return lines with a drop-in 255lph fuel pump. The drivetrain is made up of a 3" steel driveshaft, ford 9" with 4.56's and 35 spline axles.

This is me at the track last weekend on a 200 shot and on my way to a 1.36 short time and 6.52@102 1/8 mile time. Oh, I drove the car an hour & 15 minutes to the track, won the class and then drove home.

I'll be sure to keep you posted on it's life span. Made about 10-12 pulls on the dyno with the 250shot and about 6 passes last weekend at the track on the 200 shot.

Nice setup. I have true duals coming and feel the 18" bullets are going to be too loud for my taste. What size XR1's did you go with 12" or 18". How does it sound?

it's a standard GM EFI single nozzle kit from NX. Still using the supplied -4 feed line and standard noids that come in the kit.

Yes, the bullets are going to be loud and drone. I have the 12" Borlas and they are loud by most peoples standards as well. They do however provide a much deeper tone than the bullets do. I have some video from last night which I'll try to get up sometime soon.

Thanks Tim. If there is a red x then it's Chris's fault for sucking at the hosting.

stock injectors? Aren't they maxed out? Mine are at about 91% duty cycle at just 405rwhp.
Nice numbers though! Let us know how long it lasts.

Nice numbers. You can spray up to 600 hp (the most i've heard it to be done) with a stock bottom end... All you have to do is tune the torque table (the one that prevents torque to go over a certain point... i forgot what it was called)

Congrats Jeff! Can you make sure to post the shot 5 or 6 more times so people will not get all pissy? Thanks
You ever run the 1/4? I'd be interested in the results. This is good news I plan on running a similar cam only/200 shot setup with a MS3 the NX MAF kit and a 340.

He is running a wet shot. Injectors dont care how much you spray when it's a wet shot.

Are you saying a 600hp shot!!?? or are you saying sray for a total of 600hp? I wouldnt think a stock bottom end would like a 600 shot! LOL

Sorry for trolling in your thread Jeff.

I would also like to see some 1/4 mile times. What gear are you in at what mph in the 1/8? Also, what clutch? Great numbers!

Hehe thats still sick Jeff I've got the gear heads over here in disbelief: Hopefully when I get in tomorrow Chris has the Vid up. As for the life span something tells me that he's not to worried about that

nikejr16- ARP head studs
moyam01-no idea what you're talking about
Travis-maybe it's not really a 250 shot.
Tim 98z-keep it to a minimum and thanks for answering dudes question.

If everything works out I'm going to try and get some 1/4 times around 11/5 or 11/6. The only thing that concerns me is my gear/tire set up. We shall see though.
