Default Fast 90mm dyno results

I want to post up the before and after numbers from my intake and 30# injectors.
old numbers 484 and 466
new number 485 and 448
This was done with the addition of the Fast intake and TPIS throttlebody. I did also install 3.90 gears between as well. We added the 30# injectors hoping we would need them as we were hoping to have 500rwhp but we were a little disapointed, i was more disapointed in the loss of torque.
Anybody have any ideas?

Also, are they the red top 30#rs (Fords) or just a 30# injector at our fuel pressure?

Oh i would be pissed off if i got your results. It seems like the LS6 and stock TB's are doing fine. I remember reading somewhere a guy losing power from a LS2 intank manifold too.

Something is bound to be wrong somwhere. Even if you didn't gain hp, you should have picked up TQ. Did you port match the intake to the heads? I know when I set the lower portion of my intake on my heads, they didn't match up very well. I port matched it and removed th elip that sticks out. Power on a stroker motor should show a nice gain.

I thought something is wrong also they tuned on it and that was the best it got. Like I said earlier we added the 3.90s but I cant imagine it robbing that much power. We are open to any helpful hints on where the torque went.

I lost about 13 rwhp with my 4.10 gears when I had the stock 10 bolt. If you have updated to a 12 bolt, and other drive train parts, that will add rotational mass.

I lost like 15whp with my 3.91 gears so doesn't sound too far off. It's gotta be the gearing.

Could you post your dyno graphs, so we can see where the losses occurred?

I picked up .15 in ET/2.1 in MPH and this was run in DA's that were less than 50 FT apart.I dont know whats wrong with your setup but it was worth an easy 10/10 RW on my setup....

gearing probably took some out of it, I only gained 10 hp and 5 tq with mine but the funny thing was is when my timing was reduced to 24 degrees and my 12 bolt was put in I only ended up losing about 20 hp which put me back right around the area that I was before I added the intake almost like the intake grew on my motor??

We added the gears but it is in a Vette so no additional weight was added. I dont have the graph. Could it be the ports dont line up causing a turbulance. What is the best timing to be set at for the most power?

I'm assuming that you before/after dynoed on a Dynojet and if you changed gears, this will unpredictably skew the results of your engine mods, too many changes at one time. If you dynoed on a properly operated good measureable load bearing dyno, there is a good probability that you have an engine mis-match somewhere. You stated, "We added the gears but it is in a Vette so no additional weight was added." Maybe it was a load bearing dyno, but if it is why would you add weight, gears weigh more? EJ
