Default TR 236 H/C dyno #'s

420 rwhp and 397rwtq

dyno is posted below. A/F was in between 12.8-13.0. although it didnt peak like i wanted the midrange is awesome which is what the heads were ported for. i also ran stock valve sizes for p/v clearances. but it does make over 400rwhp from 5400-6800. i ran a 12.45@117 on the stock rear end with a 3k rpm drop but as you can tell by the dyno it doesnt pick up until 3k rpm and that launch only puts me at about 2k rpm. with that launch all i did was bog and all i could muster was a 2.13 60ft. so in a couple of months when i pay this off a rearend will be on its way.

853 heads with stock compression. the heads were cleaned about .005 but the chambers were also smoothed so it should be about stock. i had 241's stock but i had to be ready to do it in a weekend so i couldnt have down time. lift wise intake was 230cfm @ .300 lift. the flow on the heads isnt as smooth as wanted so my ve table is f'd to keep it streetable. you can tell on the graph where it picks up. not sure what the port volume was but he said he gave them a venturi effect so i am guessing that is why it flows good down low. ( i am not the expert).

Hey dubs, not to make you feel bad, but two other guys just dynoed on here with FM13 cam only and got exactly the same power as you. I checked your graph to see if the area under the curve was hurt but it was the same and in most places a little higher than yours. To punch you in the stomach, he was also running through a 12-bolt...with 4.30's.
Change that cam out....

my heads werent ported for peak and they only cost me $500 so i am not too concerned. let me know if you have 400 dollars laying around though so you can get me that cam. it was my first choice but i thought i would get more out of traditional split cam. guess i was wrong. thanks.

sorry i am in college and just used all of my credit to do this and i was already dissappointed with my results. i wanted atleast 430rwhp. but i do have a fast car. and it did trap 117 on a humid day.

my other dilemma is that i did heads, cam, and headers with duals all at once so i cant just blame an 80hp gain on my cam. the heads were professionaly done and flowed 295/210. the cam was designed by thunder racing. the headers are QTP so we know thats not it. the exhaust is custom but that would be hard to mess up with dynamx Xpipe and bullets. so like i said there is no way of knowing that it is the cam unless i put a f13 in it and gain another 20-30hp.

Yep that was one of them. Didn't see the mildly ported heads in the sig. Forget what I said, I was tired. I can't talk- as long as you can drive, you'd probably kick my *** up and down the highway and track. Until I turn on the bottle anyway.
