I do not want to hijack your thread V8, but just to clear things up if you use a loading dyno...
Using the vehicle weight, hp at 50 mph or aero drag for simulation is just another option on a load type dyno like a Mustang. It is not required like alot of people have been told. You can run the test in controlled accel rate for whatever RPM or MPH/sec to want. If more people would run these dynos on a set accel rate, it would take one more variable out of the process as far as comparing numbers. Dynocar and myself have discussed this on here before.
Vehicle Simulation is excellent when tuning or drivability testing on the dyno. I do use it for that but I use a controlled rate for Power curve testing. So as said earlier you do not HAVE TO have Vehicle weight for a power curve. Just be sure to test the same way every time for accurate results.
You can also run the load dyno's in inertia only if you wish. I do not normally use it like that but it is another option.
