well i bought the g5x1
still would like to see some torques curves i know someone here has one. (preferably with stock heads)seems like i seen a comparison from someone which compared 3 different cams but i cant find it with the search.
also i know these specs are not ideal for nitrous BUT what are the drawbacks
125 wetshot on g5x1 228/232 .588/574 112 how is the nitrous going to affect the
more air in and less air out? p.s wifes gonna be pissed told her cam would idle like stock ohshit (keep me in your prayers)

Be sure to post up the graph when you get it tuned.

IMO this graph isn't a good comparison. The AFR for all three cams is different. If the car was tuned to the same AFR, then it would be a better comparison.

I have the G5X1 in my car. That graph sounds about right. This cam gives up a little on the low end but really picks up on top. I would def. recommend gears.
Good luck on the tune. I never realized the full potential of the cam b/c I never had it tuned and am pulling it out for a turbo kit in the next few days. Without a tune, it idled like ****. Cold starts are a bitch and until you idle for a couple minutes and make a few stops I had to give it gas to keep it from dying. Once it found an idle it sounded badass though!

You people need to pay more attention. That graph is a G5X2, not a G5X1.

They don't care, all they are doing is looking at the numbers and not taking into account that it isn't a true comparison. The car needs to be tuned for each cam, then you can make a GOOD ACCURATE comparo.

true that.. looks like the 224 cam had the best A/F of all 3.. the other 2 cams looked a little to lean mor my tastes.. i'd like to see them all with the same rough A/F

I think the guy that posted that graph (it's not my graph, I just have it saved in my computer) said that the f13 run was experiencing valve float.
