Default TTP Equalizer V.2 Dyno #'s

Hey all,
I got my car back fromm TT Performance Friday. Among some other things they freshened up the short block and switched out the 224 for one of their Equalizer cam packages. The specs are kept secret, and you can't buy them outright, they will only install them in house. I like the fact that not every guy out there has the same cam as me. They did tell me the duration is in the 230's, and the lifts are in the .600's, and it's on a 112.? lsa. It put down 399 rwhp and 385 rwtq SAE corrected. This is with the mods in the sig through stock 853 casting heads, which I'm told don't flow the greatest. with a pulley, I'd be well over 400hp! The car is a total beast when the throttle is down, and it runs on the street EXTREMELY well. Idle is nasty. No surging whatsoever above 13-1400 rpm's, and I'm running this with 3:73's. I didn't think a cam of this nature could be so streetable, especially without 4:10's.
Id like to give props to Matt, George and all the guys over at TTP for a great job and an exellent cam/tune. If anyone in the NJ, NY, CT, PA or surrounding area need a great shop, definitely give TTP a call. They're in our sponsor listing.

Later folks!

This is the original version of our cam. We wanted something with a little more low end street tq for Rob that is why we didnt go V.3. We were pleased with the numbers through the early casting heads and pacesetters. Car sounds awesome and Rob loves it.. Only thing that counts in my book. He runs out of injector up top, so next mods we do with Rob we'll be swapping them out.

Those hp #s are about average IMO; although you don't have a ported TB or pulley, you do have a dyno friendly 10 bolt and carbon fiber driveshaft. I do like the torque #s a lot .

Pssssst, TTP Matt, smoothing feature is your friend

You worry too much about ICL and LSA

The graph looks sweet at 0 smoothing. Those heads/pacesetters are the reason the torque is low in the lower rpm area.Great #'s for the setup

We were getting torque spikes with the smoothing on anything above 0... We were losing tach signal and anyone that has dyno'd a few cars will know what I am talking about.

Not my first choice on the headers. The customer went that direction and he is satisfied so that is all I care about. Here are a few graphs of our equalizer cam series:

2002 Z06. Only mods done to the car is a set of Kooks 1 3/4" with OR x-pipe, Borla stingers, crane dual springs, and our Equalizer V.2 cam.

---------------------

2001 Camaro SS. Kooks 1 3/4" offroad x-pipe into Magnaflow catback. 160 deg. thermo. Stock 241 heads. Crane duals, our Equalizer V.1 cam:

---------------------

2001 Camaro Z28 - LS6 replacement motor. Stock 243 heads. Kooks 1 3/4" into offroad y-pipe with Borla catback. Crane dual springs, 90mm LSX, 90mm FAST t/b, Mez Electric Water Pump. Equalizer V.1 cam only.

447rwhp/414rwtq. Will post graph when I get to the shop today.

----------------------

Our equalizer series of cams work very well as you can see. Personally, I always try to steer people towards the Kooks because they make the power.

Oh and all of our cam specs are undisclosed. I have gone into this discussion over 30 times on the boards so you can search to see why they are.
