Default Torquer dyno'd

sorry for the crappy quality, what do yall think? from what the people at Rev Xtreme here in tampa told me the dyno is pretty stingy, and we were having some crappy weather (rained all day) but otherwise it looks good, base dyno was 360ish, so i had a great improvment. final numbers where 387hp/367tq

with a pulley and maybe a lil something else u could be at 395+/372+ easily... pretty decent tq curve compared to some of the 233/239's ive seen lately.. 300tq at 3000 rpms is pretty decent.

Yeah, my 233/239 was only 357 tq but that was running 14:1 AFR and w/o a ported TB or pulley. Hoping for some better numbers w/ the revised tune and ported TB (if it ever gets here!).

agreed, 350rwtq @ 4000 rpm for a 233/233 112+2 is a bit lacking to me.

no offense to tsp, but their grinds as of late, do not seem to be making the torque that they claim.

i dunno, after i get my pully i'm sure it will make similar power to that claimed by tsp.

yeah we do! Jeremy at Rev xtreme did a damn good job on my tune, i figured tsp would have been able to squeeze more power out of it, but i guess not! our graphs are very similar, we even have the same little torque dip from 4000-4500 rpms.. i wonder if thats a problem ground into the cam? anyway, keep me updated on your progress, and i'll do the same. it looks like we're headin in the same direction

edit: just to let you guys know, i topped out around 390, but i was getting a little knock on the dyno and jeremy said it would be alot worse on the street, so he toned it down a bit.

I doubt a pulley is going to get you anywhere near 400 torque like TSP produced.

so your base dyno was 360rwhp, and now with the cam you made 387rwhp? If I'm reading this right I'd be very disappointed with my numbers

My B1 cam 221/221 558/558 on a 114+4 Lunati/MTI grind made 386hp and 380ish torque. All bolt ons, and the stock 241 heads. I dont know what all the craze is lately with these my dick is bigger than yours cams. Sure, other grinds will get you 10-15 more hp, but at what expense? I hope it works out for you though. Peace, Vic

We dyno lower down here than the rest of you guys, plus the humid season is starting up.
Get that pulley and you'll be in the 390's for hp.

Without a doubt, the Futral grinds are kicking the crap out of the TSP grinds in the tq department.

^ i agree, and at this point i'm kinda wishing i had gone the f14 route. you know as well as i do that jeremy is a great tuner, so we know he isnt the problem

anyway, by base run i meant i had the cam but wasnt tuned, so a tune got me over 20 rwhp, with the cam already in. after i get a pully i'll probably be around 400 rwhp, a little less perhaps, but i wont be NEAR 400 rwtq. we'll see what happens, i'm just glad i'm tuned for now

edit: actually the futural RJ cam looks pretty good, i wonder if their gonna offer it on a wider lsa, 111 is kinda low, i would rather have the 114 f14 over the ron jeremy at this point

I'm sure you will hit 400 RWHP after adding those. I was talking about LSONE going from 367 RWTQ to 400 w/ a pulley...not gonna happen.

i concur, but i will hit 400rwhp (hopefully)

on another note, do you think its just weak cam performance thats causing low torque, or something else? ie. somethings wrong with my engine
