typically what is the ratio from a cobra to a f-body...i've seen a 415 rwhp camaro take a 475rwhp cobra...so what gives...all driveing skills being equal

A Cobra coupe is usually 200-250lbs heavier than a comparable Fbody, meaning they need around 20 more rwhp to run even with the lighter car. The Vert's are even worse in this category as they weigh even more than the coupe. The 415rwhp Fbody must have been alot better behind the wheel to take a 475rwhp Cobra.

20rwhp seems low, i would think around 40-50rwhp to stay on par with the fbody ls1 judging from what ive seen.

ok i see...i thought the weight had something to do with it...i don't think i will run into any trouble where i live...except for one 03 cobra that supposivly has 600+rwhp with a kb blower...but i rarely see him...i use to see him at the gym until i stopped going gotta love full time college and 20 hours a week working

a buddy of mine did 387.8rwhp/353.1 bone stock in his 04 cobra and after CAI it put down 407.9rwhp/367.6rwtq.....

Yeah, those Cobras are crazy... I'd like to see one with a turbo. They'd pick up a lot of power since that the blower eats a lot.

there is a yellow mach 1 twin turbo that puts "i think" over 1000hp to the ground...while still using the stock hood scoop
