Default 04 GTO M6 dyno

To all,

Posted up in internal engine. Probably should have put it here. Anyway, here's the results of my engine mods for an 04 M6 GTO. 401rwhp and 385 trq from a stock 281rwhp 306 trq. AFR 205 heads with EDC custom cam and custom CAI, Stainless Works Long Tube headers, no cats, stock catback, ported stock throttle body, and stock intake manifold port matched to heads. Heads were milled .020 using GM gaskets. All the work was done at DEZ Racing with Don "slowhawk" doing the tuning. Great guys to work with. My brother also had his done at the same time. Everything was the same except he had to get Kooks LT headers due to supply issues. I ended up about 8HP ahead, although I had a 2HP advantage on the stock runs. Probably due to my engine having 2800 miles vs his having about 600.

Cam is 220/226. Idles a little bit meaner than stock, but nothing bad. The car is my daily driver and I've had no problems. Gas mileage is right foot dependant, but overall my mileage has gone up. Cruising on the highway results in ~28mpg.

I have a Stainless works catback with turbo mufflers on order. Don left the air fuel a little high with this in mind. I should gain at least 10-15rwhp and probably around 5ftlbs with the catback.

Can't be happier and well worth the money.

Attached is the dyno.

Brett

Dynoed 5 stock m6 GTO's. Three of them were 295 to 298, and 2 of them were just over 300. That's just what the majority of them dyno. What's weird is that most of them dyno less each sucessive run where as f-bodies dyno higher each successive run. These are expected numbers out of an H/C goat. Good job.
