I am in the process of trying to hit 400 RWHP bolt on only. I know some will laugh, but i am considering 1.8 Rockers as a bolt on to achieve this. The parts will include:
1.8 Rocker Arms with 918 springs.
90/90 set up
Kooks LT Headers
True Dual exhaust
Electric Water pump
ASP pulley
Lid
36 lb hour injectors
3.42 gears
Carbon Fiber DS
Aluminum Flywheel
Tuning, Tuning, Tuning
And whatever else it takes. Stock Heads, Stock Cam though
If i cant hit it, ill do a set off untouched LS6 Heads just to see the results
Understand that this is project of mine, all the parts listed above will complement any heads/cam set up i go for with perhaps a rocker and spring switch out. Id just like to see if it can be done
So far i have almost half the parts in my garage. I will dyno lid only, with the LS6 intake, then i will dyno with parts and tune for each additional add on. It will take time
and money but should be fun

Yes you can hit 350 with bolt-ons, and 400 with a cam. I hit 305 stock, ~345 with headers, lid, MAF ends & a Predator tune thru an A4. And then 391 with an LSX intake, Hot Cam & 1.8 rockers. Now that I have a 9" w/4.11s & a 3200 stall, my dyno bragging days are over. It's all about track times now. Full weight, cam-only 11s are coming....which has never been done here in Seattle. Yet.

I uploaded a badass tune from Strickly Performance Motorsports and made the numbers in my sig by building this dynamic combination (which I would like to mention is 50 state legal): suncoast intake setup, ported tb, ported ls6 intake manifold, asp pulley, jba shorties, carsound cats, bassani true dual exhaust system, 4.10s and alum flywheel (which actually counteract each other, but are flat out awesome on the street).

What I have 2000z28 M6, FRA, SLP lid, LS6 intake, weld-on SFC's, LCA's, cut out and TR55's.
Is it possible to hit the 350rwhp mark with some LT's, high flow cats, true-duals with x-pipe, underdrive pulley, good dyno tune and a ported/polished TB. Perhaps even higher ratio rockers to push it over the edge.
what do you think?

I just found out the answer to this question!!!
I just dyno'd a couple days ago for first time:
350.0 hp
354.8 torque
This was on a mustang dyno, with a fuel pump that either isn't keeping up or is going bad, and the only mods I have are in my sig. (was being tuned while on dyno which is not in sig)

Shouldnt be that hard to pull 350+ at the wheels when you already have 290-315 from the factory. I should be close will the mods below and there is only 4.. I still need to be dynoed also. Plus 400 on the motor should be plenty for street thats like 2 to 3 times what everyone else has dam 170hp 2.5L cars
2000 6SPD 65,000 MILES. MOD: HYPERTECH, WS6STORE SHORT STICK, FLOWMASTER MUFFLER, MONROE SENSE-A-TRACK SHOCKS, SLP LID & BELLOW
