Eliminated the fuel solenoid and tried it as a dry system with an A\F of 10.8.
Like the previous post,the fuel system is working properly.
Allan...Vince was one of these guys when he had the SS.
The other things I have seen cause surging is too big of a plug gap...but it appears you tried different gaps. If you suspect the noids cycling at all just hook up a test light to the noids and watch them during the runs.
Oh...last thing...pull the valve off the bottle and make sure there is a pickup tube installed.
But my guess goes to slipping belt after reading the things youve checked.
