f14 w/ disappointing nitrous results

It sounds like a fuel problem(torque).(Fuel solenoid, filter,something)
which would inturn possibly pop the head gasket.

I would sent the noid in to be checked , or check it yourself.

Well jetting the fuel side worsened the condition,even at an A\F of 10.4.
Eliminated the fuel solenoid and tried it as a dry system with an A\F of 10.8.


Like the previous post,the fuel system is working properly.

Can you post a graph? Weird thing I have seen more than once now that causes this...especially on juice. Belt slippage. DOnt ask me how....but if the belt slips on juice you can get WILD surging. Your only hint MAY be a little bit of belt dust. Both cars that did this were fixed with a Katech belt tensioner.

Allan...Vince was one of these guys when he had the SS.

The other things I have seen cause surging is too big of a plug gap...but it appears you tried different gaps. If you suspect the noids cycling at all just hook up a test light to the noids and watch them during the runs.

Oh...last thing...pull the valve off the bottle and make sure there is a pickup tube installed.

But my guess goes to slipping belt after reading the things youve checked.

The engine numbers alone sound a little low considering my FM11 with a stock pulley and T.B. put 390 r.w.h.p. Something is definatly wrong.

390 with a 6spd,your going to make more power than an auto!My car with a fresh bottomend same cam made 393 unlocked so i guess you think somthing must be wrong with my motor?What he made is about right for what he has.

If ya already checked fuel system internel possibly injectors fuel system external.
