Default Weird Request - 70 to 120 mph run times?

So, like the title says, I have a weird request. My car is a Trans Am A4 w/3.23's, I have added a whisper lid/holley filter, corsa cat-back, and MSD wires. I don't know if I am just jaded to my cars performance or if something is wrong with my car but it feels slow above 80 mph. What I would like from some of you guys (with as close to my car as you can get) is to time a 70-120 run for me so I can compare it with mine. Thanks a bunch.

I have a M6, and I recall shifting into 4th by that point. Only did that once though (110 mph or abouts?)

Perhaps your transmission is slipping? Gah, when I bought a new transmission for my 3rd gen, first thing I noticed was my old one didn't have a 1st gear. That, and it downshifted much better.

Shifts in an auto are supposed to be really sharp. sharper the better, it's good for performance, and good for the transmission too i've heard. Within reason. I live my old camaro's new auto. Man that was ****.

Anywho, I tear though 3rd gear. So from 80++ I seem to have no trouble getting up past 100 mph. seems quick to me.

granted its not an ls1 but…
91 z28
vortech t-rim supercharged forged 383 (9.5:1)
at the crank: 730hp @6200/ 690-700lb. ft. @ 3800-6200

80mph to 135mph guestimating 4.5-5.0 sec. and pulling hard!!
my mechanic was along for the ride and he said that was the fastest accellerating car at speed he's been in.

it was pretty funny to watch the speedometer needle travel that quickly.

I have a data-logged run that has me 70-120mph at 7.8sec. This seems a little too high- could have been a slight downhill : With a high 11sec 1/4 (@around 114-115). I figure about 0.7 sec extra for the 115-120... My 0-60 on sticky tires I have logged at around 3.3sec, call it 4sec for 70mph, so say 11.8 +0.7 =12.5 -4=8.5. You've asked others, what are you getting for 70-120 ?

And you should be clearly in 3rd gear still in an A4. 3rd in an A4 is the same ratio as 4th in an M6.

well I went to B.R. last night and got a chance to open her up a little bit, counting in my head as best I can it took ROUGHLY 10 seconds from 70-120......it was pullin damn hard too....I got to 130 really quick after 120...I guess its just from 80-95 there's another dead spot like the one between 35 and 50.

Oh and sorry if it's the wrong area, what would be a better one?
