i appreciate it fellas, it did 373/384 through the B&B...so i lost 6 rwhp and 4 rwtq..the numbers are still very hard to believe, but i made 3 pulls, and the dyno is defentely calibrated right. i dont know where all the hp came from, all i know is the tune was DEAD ON! and we havent even got to dyno tune it yet. the tune came from just driving it down the road a few times.John (john02SS) defentely has it down!! im interested to see if i can get anything else out of it before i really start puttin on the parts!

i thought the same...

And i have gotten a few PMs from some guys that want to verify that there were NO dyno tricks done. The dyno was check before and after. Tire pressure was at 34 lbs, all belts in tact except A/C, on 18's z06's, withOUT an underdrive pulley, STREET tuned, should make a few more when we get the pulley on, and get john to the dyno to fine tune it.

Also, to the guys that asked (in pm and email) why he didnt put the stock tires back on, is because its a daily driver, we want to know what it makes going to work every morning!

Silverz28 (carbmofo),
Sounds impressive....But what was his Air fuel ratio at?
Its possible he might have an Ls6 cam in the car and not know it...it happened to someone else i know. Not flaming just asking.

lol, you gotta be shitting me(!), so, ah, I bit if you go to the internel section they're still trying to sort out their own estimates there, exactly the same place as here. Been running in circles for about 6 months now so musta been quite a cam. Gotta love their tech.

AF was 13 across the board as stated above. The car was owned by Ratio411 on the board before Mike acquired it. We have spoke to the previous owner and eventhough it was bought used by him, it was long enough ago that there was no such thing as a Z06 cam then. We now it hasn't been touched since he bought it. We will put a donkey dick cam in it soon and see what it dynoes then.

Dyno racing. Ive seen cars pull 350+rwhp stock and go 14s at the track. The track is the only dyno for comparative results.

One word of advice, dyno tuners are some of the most intelligable auto enthusiasts around. Sorry I'm not a tuner but if you can afford it get your sheit tuned it should make a huge difference on your car.

thats not bad numbers. my car got tuned by gmmg. i have the following o2 camaro ss. its got kooks 1 7/8 headers and catted y pipe, ported and polished throttle body by me, asp crank and alt pulley, free mods, alum flywheel, stage 3 mcleod clutch. 12 bolt w/4:11 gears, slp air box, and it put out 363 horse, 373 torque, through a 12 bolt. it ran the best of 12.4 on nitto
drag radials. 60 foot of 1.93. a better driver would get 'er down to the 11's.
any way im curious to see your track times because power is similar.

im sure that if i would have done some dyno tricks i could have got a couple more out of it, but like silverls1 said i wanted to see what it dyno'd under normal conditions..i had no intentions of going up there and putting down that kind of numbers. i wanted to know what it made everyday, i could have cared less how much i could have got out of it that ONE time. and for the record, i didnt pull the ac belt off, it locked up on me the other day and slung the belt..trust me, i was pissed. i would trade the few extra horses any day to be able to go somewhere with my windows up!!

Um, no A/C belt IS a dyno trick...and why would you ice a COMPOSITE intake? .

Let's see the graphs!

must have missed that huh? Not going to argue about the icing of the intake, but I still believe in it, so end it there. As soon as we find somebody with a scanner, it will be up, trust me. I will also check with james at RWTD tomorrow to see if he can post them.

dyno trick i.e. inflates the numbers above what they normally would be. accident or not it still inflates the #s.

I was there, thats the numbers it put down, they are SAE. The numbers were all close SAE, STD and Uncorrected, loaded or unloaded, it lost 1 horsepower with the dyno loaded. It's a new Dynojet with the loading ability.

SilverLS1 is dynoing Tuesday at RWTD, so we will see if the numbers are right on for MikeH Z28.

Mike, this is Luke. We raced a few months back, (Black M6/ T/A) when you only had a lid and exhaust. You pulled maybe a bumper on me from 30-140?? I wonder what my car would put down with your mods. You guys should tell me when you go to Holt I'll come out with you.

You numbers give me good hope for my car.

Luke
