Default F13 cam only and bolt ons

This is AdamB's 1998 SS here from the board. It has a F13 112 +2, PRC spring kit, hooker headers, x-pipe dumped at the rear, and a FAST 78mm intake with Bo White ported stock TB. The car has "crappy" 98 perimeter bolt heads, stock screened MAF, and a stock pulley. I was expecting around 375-380rwhp out of it, so you could imagine how happy we were with it when we got it on the dyno last night! Ignore the torque number on the graph, that is from one of the spikes due to the ignition pickup problems the dyno was having last night. The actual torque was 382.7. Every time I do a F13 install, it turns out great! I freaking love that cam! I'm doing a couple of PRC 2.5 and F13 combos in June with the F13's on a 112 + 0, can't wait to see how they turn out. Now Adam needs to buy a set of heads for his car!

Nice #'s. What was the AF on the top end?

I'm very happy with my f13, I should be wrapping up the tuning next week. Track and dyno numbers will be coming shortly after that.

It was 13-13.2 across the board with 28* of timing.

Those are real nice numbers. I'd expect them to be more in the high 380 low 390 range, given the fact that it has the stock pulley. Maybe the 78mm LSX is making up the difference.

When we hit the first 398rwhp run I couldn't believe it. I went home and watched the video. . .it was hilarious because we are hooting and hollaring!! I never expected to hit 398rwhp with the current mods. Hoped for numbers that high, but never expected to hit them. Kinda wishing I would have had a short belt with me to bump it over 400.

Oh well, I am proud of what my car did. GOMER IS THE ****!!!!!!

Thanks:
FMS-Allan and Candy, can't thank you guys enough for all the help you have been
gomer-as I stated above, you da ****!! A million thanks. . .
Ellis Juan-thanks for hooking me up with my headers and x-pipe
MTI David Coates-gave me a killa hook up on a slightly used LSX (I had it ordered 15 minutes after his post!!!)
Walker Dyno-a little place in Alabama with a Dynojet where we did the dyno tuning
SPEC-for helping me out with a clutch situation. They are always eager to help.
UMI Performance-Really haven't seen these gains yet as I am still waiting on a rear end, however Ryan helped me out a TON!! Great guy!!

I know, stupid I make a thank you list for a power number that is normal in the ls1 community. However I don't know that many have done it with my list of mods, on a full on street driven tune, with it over 80 degrees and humid as hell. Anyway, I am still gonna give credit where credit is due. So there it is.

And gomer, the torque was 382.7!!!

Awesome numbers, escpecially considering it was with those crappy 98 heads! I'd get rid of my 231/237 and replace it with an Futural cam if I wasn't going to need a turbo cam later on anyways.

Nice #'s.

With a set of 241's decked .015 he'd be in the 400's easy.

If he had an ASP pulley, and the 241's im sure it would make a big improvement also. Make sure he gets a pulley first though.

Great #'s by the way!!!
