2001 Z28 M6 MTI Lid, Old SLP bellows, ported stock MAF, HPP3, bump stop mod, powershot filter, "Free Mods", Flowmaster on other ALL stock exhaust
I was looking at the A/R on the SS and it seems it varies quite a bit from mine. Anyone know whats up with that, it goes from 10:1 to almost 14:1 between the 3 pulls
whereas on the Z28, its damn near the same on all 3 pulls. Also, can anyone tell me why the Z28 is only 15HP less than the SS with the LT's, catback, and BBK?
Thanks for the input!!!
are bad things? I have a good spare LS1 MAF that goes back on my Buick I was thinking about pluggin up to his SS and see what happens.
the SS MAF reading at idle were right a 7gs @ idle and right at 267gs at WOT 2-3rd gear with 1* of knock retard and 42* of spark adv
the Z28 was 6gs sec @ idle and 230gs at WOT 2-3rd gear with 2* KR and 40* spark adv
funny, peopel reply to muffler questions and other stuff but no one has anything to say for a real question?

but ive always been told to stick with the stock maf, and ive only heard bad things about aftermarket ones. i would do what you originally said and switch them with a stocker. who knows? it only takes 2 mins to do and could solve all the problems
Im a CM1
anyway, by the looks of it, the G MAF is working fine.......so I dont see what diff it would make. I am wondering what peoples complaints/problems with the G MAF have been or are.

I have never seen good dyno results with the BBK, all of them with only the BBK being the variable has shown a loss. It's an 80mm throttle body, but the intake manifold opening is only 78mm, unless you are using one of the F.A.S.T. 90mm units, but you did not have that listed.
are you a tuner @ SMS? or just took the car there?Just took my car and my buddys car there
