Default TEA 1.5 5.3's|224/228|Fast 90mm dyno #'s

This is my girlfriends car. 2002 Z/28

Prior set up, AFR 205's/ MTI Stealth II/ FLP LT"S w/ ORPS. Magnaflow CB. MTI ported TB, Vig 3200. 3.73's.

Long story on how the AFR's got on her car, lol They were originally meant for mine, the WS6 in my sig.

That combo was horribly mismatched and it only dynoed 360 ish.

So last January we were putting in a cam similar to the one AFR recommends, 224/228 114 +2, I think theirs is a plus 1. During the break down of her car, it looked like a head gasket was blown. So, off came the heads. They later ended up on my car. TEA was having their sale on the 1.5's so I picked up a set of them fully intending to put them on my car and giving her back the AFR's. Well that didn't happen, LOL so she got the TEA's on her car and I was praying that the cam would be ok and it would makes some power or she would kill me.....Flash forward, after four months of sitting in the garage I finally got it back together and got it back from the tuner today....

Current Set up,
TEA 1.5 5.3's....stock gasket
Fast 90mm.......unported
NW TB
85 mm induction
224/228 114 + 2
FLP's with orp's
Magnaflow CB
10 bolt w/ 3.73's
Vig 3200

The numbers are more impressive locked than unlocked. 430 locked and about 410 unlocked Overall though, she is very happy

Congrats! I bet she gets her time slip!
It was a pleasure doing business with both of you. How does the low end torque feel?

She had her 17 x 9.5 ZO6 rims on the front and her old 16 x 8 Z/28 rims on the back with the new MT 255-50-16 Drag Radials
