Default Mustang #'s converted to dynojet numbers

Is there a simple conversion rate for dynoing on mustang dyno?
is it a percentage? or about 25 rwhp regardless?
is 400rwhp on a mustang dyno equal to 425rwhp on a Dynojet?

You will probably get all kinds of answers but there is no "conversion rate" for Mustang to Dynojet. Two totally different tools designed for different testing methods. The word DYNO is about the only thing they have in common.

well said.

A dynojet the end user cannot "fudge" the numers, other than air temps, and altitude corrections.

A mustang dyno, you can make the numbers whatever you want.

I spend most of my day working with a mustang dyno, and it is a great tool, but when i want a bragging right number, I have the car dyno'ed on a dynojet. No arguement with that.

Well for my TH400 car and a friends the conversion was 1.05 x's the mustang dyno #

who cares, a dyno is used for tuning .. fwiw i believe you can fudge a dynojet with correction factors.

On my car (A4) the Mustang dyno was 13% lower than the dynojet

I saw about a 35 hp difference between the two dyno's with the dynojet being the higher number

I dynoed on a Mustang dyno at 279hp & 304tq before headers. I was dissapponied until I found out they dyno lower. The operator told me to add an intake and exhaust to help get more power but I already had them installed. Maybe he didn't know what was going on.
