Talking Thunder Racing 408 Dyno numbers

Been down at TR for the past few days while Geoff has been tuning the car. Yesterday afternoon I took several rides with him in this thing and I can't say enough about the drivability of this car. Pretty damn tame at regular cruising speeds and Feels unbelievable when in the throttle. Absolutely no surging or bucking issues. Put it on the dyno today for WOT tuning.

523hp/475tq thru full exhaust
534hp/486tq open header

These are very impressive numbers. I am pleased with thunder and would recommend anyone to build a motor with them. 1yr warranty when installed by Thunder. Did you read the latest GM Tech magazine. No one else will stand by their work like this(NO ONE). Thanks to All Thunder Staff.

TR 408
GM 6.0l block .030over 11.6CR
eagle 4.00 crank
Diamond pistons/Manley rods
AFR 225 heads
248/254 cam
Fast Intake/ NW Throttle Body
1 7/8 QTP w/high velecity collector.
Custom Y-pipe
Hooker Cat-back

Also watched Geoff tune a TA with stock block and stock heads with a t-rex and 4400 stall and he has that car driving without any problems whatsoever. Hands down He has got to be one of the best tuners in the country on these big cam cars.

Can't wait for track times

Your numbers are awesome, but you are mistaken with your statement about no one stands behind their work. FMS has been behind me the entire time. My warranty is almost up. I am trying to think of what to do next so I can somehow get it extended

Well I didn't see FMS in GM High-Tech, But there are not a whole lot of shops that do stand behind their work like this. That was all I meant. I am happy with Thunder and would recommend them to any one. Alan is a super nice guy and I glad things have worked out for you at FMS. Thanks for letting me know.

TR has produced a nice 408ci setup. Much props to the TR team.

Nice numbers Shawn. I'm glad everything worked out as planned. Enjoy the car once you get it back.
