Yea, the LG Motorsports G5X4 is definately one of the best cams ever made for the LS1.

I doubt it. Smokin01TA dynoed 442 rwhp with his T-Rex. And he traps 131 MPH!

anybody have the numbers on this cam or are those a secret? Hows the idle on something this big? I don't expect it to be great but am curious how lopey it is

When i switched from the x3 to x4 i gained 5hp only and 1tq. That was the only mod change,same dyno and tuner. At the track i gained NOTHING. I went from 458 to 463hp

Ya this cam has kicked some *** over the years, people kinda forget about it.
This past fall I saw the x2 Marco was running the 1st time out in the cam only/ all motor class at MIR qualified above me. And the best ET LS1 in the class. I don't think it makes the most power, the lightest 2800 race weight steup is going 128.
I few years ago local jason short had one I can see what that was making cam only. I remember he did good bolts ons, and headers, changing the pipe a few times. And got a fast92/92 when they 1st came out. M6 car, we were making about the same power and were close on the dyno. And he put ET power 5.3 heads on too.
