Allan adjusted the tune and the KR has disappeared. Only he knows what changes he made.

Bringing this thread back from the dead since we have some recent engine dyno comparisons. Glad to see the competition is hot these days on the LSX front!

It is only a comparison if it is off the same dyno, Westech's dyno is about 20 high compared to some others

While I agree with the first part of your statement (that a comparison is always better on the same equipment....), I disagree with the second part.

Westechs dyno is spot on....it used to be about 2% high a few years ago due to an inaccurate weather station, but that has long been reseolved. My 346 rolled 475+ on six different dyno's in two different states and only losing 75 from crankshaft to rear wheel power is pretty good even for a manual trans car (with power robbing 3.90's in the rear as well). Also, the math dictates that it would take every bit of 550 HP to propel a 3450 lb. vehicle to 124 MPH at 1500 above sea level.

The car ran the MPH to back both the rear wheel and observed flywheel numbers and my current 383 (which made 60 more flywheel HP and 60 more RWHP) did just the same by running the number at the track eclipsing my 346 by about 5 MPH.

We have numerous 205cc headed cars running in the 480-491 range.
Um... Matt... Im prity sure we went over this before... But I guess we can do it agian...

Last time I checked 507.9 is higher then 505. I could be wrong but I think it is.

507.9 with LS6 heads through a 12-bolt HD Pasi with 4.56 gears

505 with AFR heads through 9" Spool 4.11's

HM.... I honestly don't think you have the world record do you?

I'll let it slide since this was posted over a year ago

I dont think he is "dyno racing". And his times in sig weren't with the 500+ RWHP he has now, I want to say he was making upper 470's but not positive I'm sure he'll chime in. Where do you live that those cars are deep into the 10's w/ NA stock bottom ends? I bet they are gutted to ****, hell give me a car that weighs 3000lbs w/ 470 RWHP and a good suspension and I'll click 10.30's-10.40's off all day

Weak tony!! Remember in the fall of 04, we made 530/ 485 at the wheels with the stock 205s, FAST, and a G5xX cam? We backed up those numbers with the 10.40s at 140, broke 4 difs in 6 passes

Ur right I have not run anything worth ****.

I guess running 10.56 @ 129 with 477 HP and 3350-LBS in a street driven WS.6 isnt worth ****.

I cant wait to hit the track with 507HP...

Thats pretty good, I thought that was with 500+ you were running. Theres a guy around here thats been 10.4 at 129 with mid 460s on stock bottom end at 3400 or so, thats what Id xpect out of a good working setup, but Ive seen some cars from NJ and some other places that supposedly made 500 and dont even trap that much less ET with same or lighter cars.
