Default FAST90/TPIS90 gains/dyno #'s

Swapped out the LS6 intake/stock ported TB for a FAST 90/TPIS 90 on the pig last weekend. Fairly pleased with the end results though I was shooting for 460+ .... damn you DAMIAN!

With the old set up(LS6 intake/stock ported TB), the car made 435/405 on TEA S1.5 5.3's, and a lil' old F11 cam(228/230, 585/595 112+3*)through an M6/12 bolt/4.56's/28" slicks/supporting bolt on's with FULL exhaust and FULL belt.

After the the swap, it went 457.3/423.9 on a safe(a tad fat)N2o tune. That's a gain of 22.3 rwhp/18.9 rwtq. Not too bad considering I bought the combo used from a board member, so the $$$ vs. gains ratio are within reason I suppose. Hoping this 90/90 really shines on the yet to be built 408" coming in '06.

On a side note.... the HP peaked at 6200(I've advanced the cam a hair)and held level all the way to 6900. The TQ. went from 340 @ 2600, to 400 @ 3900, and peaked at 423.9 @ 4600 before falling slowly to 350 @ 6900. All in all, a very nice looking graph(wish I could post it.... scanner DOWN )

Wasn't able to spray the F1 150 hit as I'm chasing down some electrical gremlins, but hoping for 600+/600+ , and 10.xx's on the hose with the F11 cam(fingers crossed reaching for pixie dust )

Also like to thank my buddy Mike(Evilz28NOS) @ GMMG for taking time on his day off to tweak the 'puter! You 'da man Mike! (You should'a been there Ron.... instead of layin' on the sand like a beached whale J/K bro) Can't wait to get some ET's NA/hosed!

I swear 80% of the people that go with the 90/90 setup and end up with 6 rwhp gains dont know what they are doing... Then there is those that do know WTF they are doing and make bad *** numbers like in this thread! Kickass numbers for sure!

Very encouraging results. I plan on swapping to the FAST 90, NW 90 very soon.

Thanx for the kind words guys! Seems like I've been chasing this # forever w/this car..... while everyone else(read Damian, Gomer and others) were able to slap a cam in and go 470's LOL!

Guess there is some substance in "matching" the parts....

Forgot to mention Mike has timing set a 28* accross the board and A/F @ 12:8:1. Seemed like adding advance did nothing beyond 28*. Wanted a ragged edge NA tune and pull a couple few degrees with the timing tuner on the 150 hit, but he felt a little fat and conservative advance was a safer bet even though I'm running an inline pump.

I wonder what it would have pulled through a 10 bolt/3:42's on 26" radials with NO BELT?

Thats awesome man, almost hit my LS6 intake #'s

J/K man. Those #'s kick *** bro, and your TQ curve probably looks a LOT better than mine. 423 ft lbs is killer. I bet it feels nasty with your gearing. Thats a 470 rwhp machine with a 10 bolt.

Whenever you decide to give me directions to your new house, i'll bring the meter back and maybe take a ride in the "new" pig

Nice gains. I just brought a 90 mm NW TB and 90 mm intake. Ishould see a good gain with the port work that was done with the intake
