Default Old Skool T1 Cam results

Just got my car dynoed by the guys at ART in Austin.
Best of 374.4hp / 350.2tq

I am pretty satisfied with it, here are my mods:

Lunati T1 cam (221/221 on 112 .558/.558)
YT roller rockers (more to just quiet down the tapping)
FLP headers with cats
GMMG exhaust
BG Ram air with SLP Lid (the ram air obviously didn't do anything for the dyno read) and smooth bellow
LUK ProGold clutch with aluminum flywheel

Heads are untouched as is the pulley and rest of the internals.

I will post the graph later.

Next on the list is to clean up the heads, and a pulley, maybe a larger cam (less than 230) in the future.

Congrats! Not too shabby for a little cam, lid and headers through cats!
My first cam was a T1, and I loved it. With heads and the other bolt on's I was able to get 416/406 out of it.

"Little" cams DO make good power!
Enjoy!

Here's the graph. It was a bit hot - 95*. (Sorry, I tried to post it earlier but it wouldn't go through for some reason)

FYI the car was tuned by ART, though not on the dyno. I hope to get it back there soon to see if they can pull anything else out. It is a little lean.

I just threw a T1 in my '99 A4 Trans Am w/ 4000 stall and 3.42 gears. I'm getting dyno tuned by gomer at Gen3Performance in a few weeks, so it's nice to see some results so I know about what to expect. I'm assuming this is an M6 correct?

Between my stall and auto, I'm hoping to see 340 RWHP. Keeping my expectations low. No pulley, LS1 intake, and we wont pull any dyno tricks, 17x9 wheels, and I have the rest of the bolt ons.

That T1 just sounds mean too. Whatever it is it just sounds better than the other slightly larger old Skool MTI cams (C1/C2). I wish mine sounded more like a T1. You get to keep your torque with the old school too.

I've had numerous people tell me my T1 lopes like a 230+ cam. Maybe it's got more bark than bite, but I like it just fine for my first cam. In the future I may step up to something bigger, but I'll throw on some heads before I worry about another cam. I really like it for right now, and the car isn't even tuned yet.

The T-1 &the B-1 are excellent grinds especially the first few from MTI,which were lunati cores.
I have the B-1 an it makes 392 rwhp 369 tq.
I also have a ported tb an pulley.

Yeah, I love the setup I have now but I keep thinking about what the next step I really want to take is. I would like to do the items I had in my first post, but while I am tearing everything back apart I might as well as stuff in a bit larger of a cam.

Stangkiller, your car is what I have tried comparing my setup to the most. Your car is really slick.

Where does the T1 cam help out the most? Everywhere? Is this the biggest you can go without sacrificing albsolutly NO low-end? THanks.

The chart looks awesome!

Mid range power is really strong, and its pulls pretty good for its size. If it wasnt for the fact that I wanted more power, id stick with this cam.

Yeah, I replaced the springs but not the lifters. The lift on the cam is only .558/.558. Just a bit more than LS6 springs could handle. I love the cam personally but eventually when I decide to go bigger I am thinking nothing more than 230 just for personal preference. If I understand correctly when you get over that you start losing some of the low end (but anyone please correct me).

Everything done to the car so far has been done by myself (and when I say that I mean only ME). Kinda hard sometimes so I'm not really in any hurry to start tearing it apart again.

BTW, I enjoy the cam the most on the street. I don't race a whole lot so it is good to putt around in for now.
