280 rwhp with lt headers,lid,bellows,k&n air filter and free mods???? also i have crank and alt pulleys

I'm guessing by your screen name that you have a 2000 WS6.

Those numbers seem a bit low, even if you have an A4.

it was on a mustang dyno what do you think could be causing those numbers to be so low car also has 46k miles

Is your car an A4 or M6?

Does it run strong or feel sluggish?

Any track times with it?

I wouldn't worry too much over dyno number if the car is performing. Dynos are just a tool for tuning.

the car is very responsive and no track times yet but i destroy my frineds 01 ws6 with flowmaster and a lid his is m6 and mine is a4

another thing as well the guy who dynos it says i ahve 628ft lbs of torque i know thats not right where is he getting that number from????? and is he supposed to ladder shift when dynoing or leave it in 3rd and ride it out?

1. A Mustang dyno will read lower than a Dynojet
2. The dyno operator should lock your car in third for the dyno pull.
3. A4's aren't dyno queens

280 rwhp on a mustang dyno isn't bad, especially through an LS1 intake.

628lbs tq something is wrong. Sound like the guy running dyno does know what he is doing or something is wrong with the dyno.

How does the dyno operator lock it in 3rd? I have no tuning software or anything. The guy I went to was a moron. Also, I only put down 310 on a dynojet in my 2002 A4 with LTs, Catback, lid, maf, filter, & TB.

A local 98 Regal GS dyno'd 280fwhp, and 580lbs.... the problem was that the dyno operators couldnt get a good spark reading so it threw the torque numbers off.
