Default What to do for 450rwhp na/346/a4 ?

Is this possible? I will be rebuilding my motor soon, so what would be a good combo to use to shoot for this?

I have seen a number of post lately about A4s wanting to hit 450rwhp. Are you willing to hit the juice???

I am willing to hit the juice ... but I want to do so after I get 450rwhp n/a I want 450rwhp n/a, 600rwhp sprayed, 10's n/a and 9's on spray. That may be optimistic, but hey gives me something to shoot for

Allan from FMS ran an all motor pass of 9.95@137mph in his 346ci SS. Id imagine you'd need over 450rw to run that. Not positive if its an A4 but i remember him telling me he was swappin to an automatic earlier this year so im guessin it is
Should have details on his website soon.

My combo: 11.5:1 346, w/F13 and 205s, will make 450 through an A4.

So your SS has ARF 205's, what cc? F13, Fast 90/90 intake/TB, and im guessing full exhaust of course. Now does your forged motor bump up compression for more ponies also, or does just those mods alone on a stock ls1 make 450 to the rears or close on A4? I see you have a lot of suspension done also, what N/A times are you putting down and what sprayin the 150? Its kind of funny because your SS is like exactly the mods im looking into getting. the 205's F13, 150 shot, lol. I see your quite built also. You think jsut the H/C could be safe o nthe 10 bolt and im pretty sure bottom end will be fine but spraying will be the issue for both. Please get back to me as your car is mines roll model and it whats to be jsut like your ss, lol. All the info helps.

With a 224/224 cam and 205s (unmilled), I pulled 420/420, unlocked, through the cutout. With a locked convertor, I'm sure I'm closer to 440 rwhp. I only have an LS6 intake too. With a little more aggressive cam, milling the heads for an 11+ CR, and a LSX intake (perhaps port matched), I think 460+ rwhp is reasonable in my case (with a locaked TC). Without a locked TC, that would be real tough.

But not all cars run the same.

I helped someone out with a mild combo (but like myself he hit ALL the bolt-on's) with 205's and our somewhat conservative 224/228 cam that hit 440/400 thru an A4 in a Vette. Obviously with a cam in the low 230's (still street friendly) we could have eclipsed the 450 mark. I'm sure he will chime in here shortly

By the way....this thread might have gotten a few more hits if it were placed in the "tech section"....Seeing as we are speaking more about "dyno hopes" than actual results....lol

is there a difference or reason a 98 LS1 motor wouldn't do just as good as say an 02 LS1?

*58.5 cc chambers
*QTP snd Magnaflow
*Heads and pistons designed at 11.5:1
*11.6 n/a at sealevel. No roll bar, so I can't run faster.
*I've had bad experiences with a 10-bolt and big power, so I bought a Strange 12 bolt.
*Heads and cam alone will make over 400 rwhp.

ya'll make it sounds so easy What do you all think of the TTP 500rwhp from a stock bottom end / a4? Sounds amazing to me, but it looks like its gonna cost an arm and a leg to get your hands on.
