Default 400rwh true daily driver

alright i want 400 rwh but it is my true daily driver....i drive it to school and everywhere....what cam can give me this, i will be with full boltons including asp, and ported tb...thanks......cams ive looked at are the ASA(for spring life but drivability doesnt seem too good) and the g5x3 but these both seem too big to be a true daily driver......ya think i can get 400rwh with a 224/224 or a 228/230 somethin like that?

I take it you want "just enough" cam to hit 400rwhp and still be a real daily driver?

Futral F11 will hit the mark for sure (with after market exhaust system). 400rwhp for a 224/224 will be a stretch but possible.

I've got an F13 and even without a pulley I'm at 397rwhp. I drive it to work everyday so I think its totally streetable.

Dude, i get 17-18mpg still lol. It's all in the tune man, the tune is what makes or breaks how a bigger cam idles/drives/whatever.

Edit, btw the x3 is bigger than the f13(not starting anything, just stating facts based off of his "f13 seems to big to be very streetable")

You could always go with a baby cam "224" and a good set of heads (AFR 205's) and that would probably give you your 400hp plus good driveability.

You could also look here https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamometer-results-comparisons/371680-tea-224-dyno-numbers.html there's a couple of people with smallish cams making good #'s

I like my F13 a lot, I don't see how anyone could say its not very streetable. To me it seems just as streetable as my stock cam just with a lot more *****. The gas mileage didn't suffer much at all. I might have lost a mile or two per gallon but who cares? It puts down 400 at the wheels and gets 26-27mpg on the highway.

thats my suggestion as well. just look at vortech, he hit 414rwhp with 205's milled, an ls6 cam, and bolt ons.

good set of heads will give you 400rwhp easy plus great under the curve power.

Call Revxtreme-----> They are in Tampa and can give you some info. You can make the g5 and trex for daily drivers but it is all in the tune. Full boltons and a good tune will get you there. There is a guy down in Ft. Lauderdale area that is running full boltons and the Trex which made 410rwhp but for FL that is a bit of a freak. You will need to watch your stoc injectors at that power level as they will be at max at wot.

I just put in the X3 yesterday and pulled over 400 with stock heads, stock t/b, stock pulley, and headers with a y pipe through a 12 bolt. And the car is plenty streetable

You need a big cam, look at what I have. I was able to drive it around as a DD, but gas was killing me. I'd have to fill up like every 2-3 days, sometimes more. Thats the only downfall.
