Default TR224 A4 cam only

I just had my car tuned over at eastside

It made 350 hp at 6000 rpm with a stock tq converter unlocked ( I kknow there isnt much of a difference locked vs unlocked )

I have a 99 motor with stock heads
ls6 intake
tr224 cam
hooker headers
ory pipe

stock cat back and no pulley

How much hp could i be loosing through a stock catback?

I plan to pick up a cutout + pulley but didnt have time before the tune.

sounds good man and disth the stock catback and get u after market and get a ud pulley and take it to the track and run it also is this on a 112 or 114 lsa man

The Lsa is a 114

I thought the power should have pulled to atleast 6200 but I am not sure if the stock catback was hurting the top end

If u like the stock twin tailpipes then go Dynomax Ultra flow 3in/2.25 dual out..
It flows awesome,then add the cutout....Even better leave it alone (I went 11.40 threw stock pipe and cutout) and just weld in a cutout....

Pulley/PTB are worth 7RW....
Thats 350 + 5RW Cutout + 7RW Pulley/PTB = 362RW
Once u add the verter you;ll lose 20RW but who cares,it will fly


FWIW
I Made 335 unlocked with a stock motor'd 218-224 VIG 3600/Macs/Ory/PTB/Pulley/Lid
Your already doing great with this project..

I also went 11.74@113 with this setup in 50 degree's..

YEa In definitly doing a cut out this week . I had the TCI4000 in the car but had to take it out and send it back. Hopefully I should have that back soon too. I would of liked to have seen more power cause Im a Hp junkie but I am really concerned about driveablitly right now. Pulley should be in the next couple weeks too.

Look at my Dyno with a TR 220 114lsa.. you need to get true duals

Pretty good man. Get that ud pulley and a 3in true dual x w/ turndowns man and u'll see a nice jump like 20rwhp or the cut-out if ya dont wanna spend the extra dough & still see a good jump. Also didnt notice a ported TB listed, do you have one?? if not thats worth another 5-7rw prolly. Locked verter u'll prolly see a decent jump. My TA did 378rw unlocked and 397rw locked on an F14 & My old 99Z w/ F11 did 371rw unlocked and 388rw locked. Both were w/ a vig3200. Well theres my 2 cents..........

cutout and w/e catback you want stock cat back is probbly holding atleast 10-15 on a cam only car

This is the first pull with this motor.

I used to have a h/c motor in my car that put down 43Xrwhp. I sold that motor about 7-9 months ago and the car sat till now. I am really happy to be back out driving it again. I took off my true duals as they kept hitting my spohn tq arm and I wanted it quieter than it has been. The car is a frigen pig with the stock converter though. I havent had a stock converter for 3 years now. Nice in traffic but the car is a brick.
