Default tuned ls1......

today i dynoed the LS1...it has heads, cam, ls6intake, ported TB, pacesetter LT's and ORY and a SHITTY flowmaster muffler. The intake is missing the lid and it just a open filter with the bottom part missing and another thing that directs air to the filter i was told. the car also has a 3200 stall in it

i made 352whp running around 12.8-12.9 AFR and not alot of timing. I was hoping for more but i know the exhaust is killing me and so is the way the intake is set up. Is the stall killing the numbers but will give me good *** track times? i was just looking for alittle feed back. Base line was 280whp and we got it to 352 with in the hour and time was up. TIA

Locked or unlocked converter? Locked would give higher HP i believe.

Also what kind of Dyno? Dynojet or Mustang Dyno? The #'s seem low. Really low.

i believe it was a dyno jet and im not sure if the converter was locked or not. The numbers seem low to me too but i know im looseing power here and there with a few other things....but with the stock intake hacked to hell and a shitty *** flowmaster muffler i was thinking its not that bad....we could of run more timing but i didnt wana keep tuning i wanted to get it off the dyno cause i just wanted to make sure it was running ok. how much power will a big *** stall rob? a stock stall would show more power than a 3200 correct?

Stock converter should show more rwhp than a higher stall.

also will shitty old plugs and old plug wires affect the dyno much? the rpm pick up was barley working so we couldnt get a torque graph....i was told the wires were almost shot.....i have alot of issues i have to fix but the car was driving like **** untuned and i needed to get it running better

It does seem low, and are you sure your exhaust isn't choking your performance? 226/226?

Put a cutout or (2) on that bad boy

Didn't check your year....my bad 95 LT.....w/how many miles? I plan on a cam only next year (228/230) maybe, but expect only 45-50hp gain

im pretty sure the exhaust and intake set up (i gotta take pics for you guys) are killing me. the flowmaster exhaust SUCKS and ive heard of people looseing power with them on stock engines. The car is a 98

sounds like a patriot H/C, so even with all the goodies it still wont put down big numbers

its a patriot cam but the heads are stock heads that were ported by.......i gotta check the papers. patriot cams suck that much?

im not sure about the cam but i think patriot uses lunati to grind their cams. From my understanding they use a "softer" lobe which = less power
