id say the 90/90 setup would gain another 20-30 rwhp, and the afr heads would pick up another 15-20 rwhp, if not more.

Thats pretty close to what I was thinking. I figured if I added the fast 90/90, underdrive pulley it would be around 460-470 & that seems pretty close to being the right amount of power. Also like I said earlier its still got a 10.7-1 CR so if I bumped up the CR it was also pick up.

well based off of my readings and experience, a fully decked out 408 with all the bells and whistles with a cam no bigger then 250 duration via 6 speed is around 550 rwhp(Vinces car)

i was gonna go that route, but decided to go turbo.

Vinces car is like 11.75:1 compression, or maybe 12:1

hes got afr heads, but i think nitrous pistons.

i would say 11:1 for your setup would be perfectly fine so long as you dont have shitty *** gas(91 is still ok)

but with everything said and one on your car, i would guess you can reach upper 400's.

That is a decent sized stall though so it will rob some hp.

P.S. you also have 3:73's in a stalled auto, which will assist in robbing hp.

Those are very solid numbers for auto car....

Your never gonna have a dyno queen with high stall anyways....

Im sure it will put up very respectable track times...

The FAST 90/90 gave me about 40rwhp over the LS6/stock - but of course it will depend on what the heads want. Enjoy what you have and don't worry about the numbers!

Man that would be nice if I could get the same. I know the LS6 intake is holding it back, I was getting some vacuum on the dyno & the MAP sensor was going nuts. Ill give it a try after Xmas, hell I may even ask my GF for it for Xmas. Im prefectly happy with the #'s I think I had my expectations to high, but it seems to be average from the others that have been dynoed lately.

Does anybody on the board port the Fast Intake? and port match to your heads, combined with a NW 90 TB I bet you would gain more than you think. Nice set-up, I do think your LS6 intake is holding you back some.

I agree though, that your stall and gears are robbing some power from you.

Tony at AFR is porting them if Im not mistaken. I also think lt1dave has done a couple, I know he is doing the LS2 intakes..

Bo White has ported 3 or 4 FAST intakes for me.

I eventually plan to go to a LME 408. We had talked about going to a ported FAST (which they do), but in the end, i'm thinking of doing a single plane.

Time to get some new heads.....
No way so your 383 with a FAST 90/90 setup, AFRs, pulley, better headers, true duals and more compression made MORE power?

GASP! A whole 34rwhp more with all that ****, and this motor isnt even broken in yet? I think these numbers are fine. Most people would rather have a few thousand dollars in their pocket than 34rwhp. I think these are GREAT numbers for his mods.

I am getting ready to drop an LS2 402 in mine and I hope to see higher numbers than what he is getting. I can't see the FAST intake and throttle body being good for 40rwhp over that LS6 w/ a ported TB. Maybe 40 at the crank and 20 at the wheels. To me, the cost per HP does not warrant the $1200 that it will cost. Specially when you can have the 20HP for free w/ a bigger NOS jet .

Does it run smooth? Is it pulling timing on the high end. I still haven't seen the dyno graph.

If you have good flowing heads, a 90/90 setup can be worth that much - it was on mine and several others. Yes, nitrous can overcome an inadequate intake system, but if you want the better numbers NA, you have to pony up the $$$$.
