It's weird how a similar combo that included the FAST 90/90 made 470 on a dynojet and now we have 479 on a mustang dyno and no Fast 90/90?

Here is the link with the graph:

Forgot to ask, are those dyno numbers actual, standard or SAE?

Its all about combo, Ed spec'd a cam to these specific heads and user requirements. And according to the user he nailed it. would love to see the graph

Ok I just took a look on ETP's site and those heads dont flow well enough to pull this off. Even if they did how would the "flow" get to the engine with out a larger intake path? I dont want to call BS but something just doesn't add up here.

Wow! Great numbers. I wonder if a T-Rex with these at 11:1 CR would fit without flycutting? Also anyone know if modifications need to be made to fit an F-body.

That seems almost too good to be true. I'm eagerly awaiting the graph.

More flow doesn't always equate to more power. Power has more to do with how fast that flow "flows" aka...flow velocity. Those heads have small 215cc runners, and they flow 300+ cfm! Thats pretty incredible, given they were flowed on a 3.9 bore according to their site. That means that the flow velocities on those heads are amazing which would equal great power. Throw a cam in there that takes advantage of that flow potential and you've got yourself some hp/tq to gauk at. Now, I do find it amazing that those numbers where with a stock TB, that would limit the flow more than anything else in that combo.

Lets just wait to hear if those numbers are real, standard, or SAE, that'll give us a better idea of the power compared to most other vehicles.

Regards,
Adrian

In that line of thinking I guess the larger TB would slow the flow velocity too. Hmm I think I am just going to sit back and watch this one.

i agree.just because a head can flow killer numbers on a flow bench doesn't mean it will put out the power in a running engine.velocity, combustion chamber shape, reversion, etc. are just a few of the dynamics that go into making a good cylinder head.

I've seen some big #'s from wheel 2 wheels mustang dyno lately. Is there a way to program that dyno to read more like a dyno jet?? Cause the mustang dyno's go off of weight of the car and other factors that you can determine, Or am i incorrect. Last week my car lost something like 30rwhp due to SAE corrections

My set-up put down a mere 386 on that same W2W dyno after their tune early summer (before my new gears too).
They did not do a baseline or anything and I know it is a different set-up but on the same dyno that number is ******* amazing.
