Default Strong AFR 205 Dyno #'s (and a beautiful C5)

Someone just turned me on to these results recently and I thought I would pass it along. Congrats to the owner and the boys over at LG.

I wonder how much the 6lb flywheel helped.

I'm thinking 16 pounds, but I'm sure it helped a little bit (more assuming it's actually 6 lbs.). Not sure if a full size wheel could even weigh that little. Don't have the time myself right now but maybe someone else could research that number.

Either way this car would be a very high 400 RWHP car thru 3.90 gears which is still impressive in my book.

Very impressive numbers. He has just about every bolton, including the electric waterpump. I also wonder how much the carbon fiber driveshaft and 6.5lbs flywheel helped out. How much does running without belts and open headers give you? Very impressive none the less.

He did it with no belts on the car, what does that give you 10RWHP or more?

Freakin' impressive #'s, and the paint job is one of the best I have seen...did you see the painted the FRC's too?

I can't get over the paint job on that car. Beautiful. Great job, and props to the guys over at LG. Are these off the shelf heads as well?

Guys,

Heads were 205's "out of the box"....

Knowing Lou they were his typical 205's milled to 59 cc's....then you have to add for valve reliefs. etc.

(11.4-11.5 more than likely)

I'm sure Lou will correct me if I'm wrong

BTW, Lou stated on a different forum that this car put down 494 with the full exhaust and the belts hooked up. With stock gearing this car would have cracked 500 RWHP in total "street trim".

Thanks,
Tony

I had a feeling he would get around 10 RWHP for the belt. Still a very impressive car. Gotta luv those AFR heads...the performance speaks for itself.
